Free2b Girls
Empowering girls to dream big, grow strong, and lead the way.
Free2b Girls began with a simple idea: in St Helens, Tasmania- girls were seeking a safe, supportive space to connect and engage with others, away from boredom and isolation. From this need, Free2b Girls was born—providing a welcoming space where girls can build friendships, develop new skills, and thrive together.
A few years later, Free2b has expanded into many local communities supporting women and girls along the way.

What People Are Saying
“My daughter has absolutely loved free2 be. Its a local safe space with creative activities and like minded, friendly kids and staff. She has had so much fun there with the lovely support staff and I have seen her independence grow over the years and she never wants to book anything else on that day so she doesn’t miss out on Free2b.”

“I love Free2b, I got to make friends with girls from other schools. The adults are nice plus we get to play outside games. One time lambs visited us at F2b. Oh and we get yummy food. I love it here”
— Participant, Longford
“Sometimes there's structure other times it's up to their own personalities and curiosity what happens. Not many programs offer this in a supported way. Plus helping to encourage socialisation between others is so beneficial particularly in rural communities.”
