It’s called The Feminine Framework and is inspired by this story: “When girls are asked why they like coming to Free2b each week they say: “Because we don’t need to fight for our food”, “We don’t need to shout to be heard all the time,’ and “Because I’m able to just be myself and talk about what I want to without being judged or teased.”
The answer that made Tani, founder of Free2b Girls, feel particularly feisty was: “Because on the day that Free2b is on I won’t need to catch the bus home with the boys”. When asked what’s wrong with catching the bus home, the girl said, “because there’s hardly any girls that catch that bus and there’s no security cameras on it.... so I don’t feel safe”.
Triggered that girls are still struggling with this , 60 years post feminism, Tani felt compelled to call upon her background in Eco Feminism, Social Ecology, Womens Counselling, Workplace Therapy, Motherhood, Auntiehood, Extensive Faerie Godmother – ing, Professional Wife- ism and current role as Directress of Free2b Girls to develop a new framework...Learn more about The Feminine Framework and how it can inform organisational culture and improve work place practices…as well as how to let it guide your everyday life by contacting Tani directly.

The Free2b Approach training shares how to engage with young people based on who they actually are rather than what adults want them to be. The training is tailored to attendees’ identified needs and concerns in the youth and community engagement space and is run in a way that values story sharing and collective input as the basis for developing realistic and needs based action plans. It offers an interactive experience that teaches adults and organisations in the youth and community sector how to effectively engage with young people and their communities in a way that is sincere, authentic and sensitive to the realities that exist on the ground. It is centred around creating and cherishing rapport, maintaining safety amongst freedom and educating the broader community about the ‘qualities’ rather than the ‘deficiencies’ of youth in general. Many attitudinal and generational barriers are broken down during ‘The Free2b Approach’ training so that long term, authentic engagement can be sustained within communities and young people in general.
You’ll learn how to:
Be responsive to ‘what happens’.
Discover the ‘open space’ mind set.
See why ‘traction’ is a safety essential
Develop adaptable communication skills
