In 2017, Free2b Girls responded to a need:
Girls in rural communities seeking safe, supportive spaces to connect and engage with others, away from boredom and isolation.
9 years on, Free2b Girls has supported 9 different communities establish weekly groups for girls aged 10 - 16.
‘Free2b Girl Groups’ they are called - places where girls can simply be themselves, however that may be!
Along the way we’ve learnt there are 7 special elements that will help a Free2b Groups thrive:

When we work with communities, it’s our job to ensure these elements are in place so that
a Free2b Girls Group, once it’s established can thrive into the future!
Thanks to a recent partnership with Mary Mackillop Today, in 2027 we are able to offer
FREE group establishment programs to 4 eligible communities in Tasmania
This means we will provide all the initial trainings, mentoring and materials required to safely run a Free2b Girls Group

Free2b Girls Kings Meadows is here! Our team is excited to be bringing our program to the Kings Meadows community. Open to all girls 10-16 y/o.
